是日上帝僕示預兆曰、此壇必裂、灰必傾、是乃耶和華所言之預兆、

上帝之僕預言異跡曰、此壇必裂、其灰盡傾、是耶和華所預言之異跡。

神人又設一預兆曰、此壇必裂、其上之灰必傾、此主所言之預兆、

That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.”

That same day the man of God spoke about a miraculous sign. He said,“ Here is the sign the Lord has announced. This altar will be broken to pieces. The ashes on it will be spilled out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

That same day the man of God gave a sign to prove his message. He said,“ The Lord has promised to give this sign: This altar will split apart, and its ashes will be poured out on the ground.”

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the LORD has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

Then he gave a sign on the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn to pieces and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.’ ”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which Jehovah hath spoken: Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

That day he also announced a sign,“ This is the sign the LORD has predetermined: The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.”

He gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which Yahweh has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

猶太人是要神蹟，希臘人是求智慧，

基甸說：「我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你給我一個證據，使我知道與我說話的就是主。

耶和華說：「丟在地上。」他一丟下去，就變作蛇；摩西便跑開。耶和華對摩西說：「伸出手來，拿住牠的尾巴，牠必在你手中仍變為杖；如此好叫他們信耶和華－他們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神，是向你顯現了。」

因此猶太人問他說：「你既做這些事，還顯甚麼神蹟給我們看呢？」

希西家問說：「我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼兆頭呢？」

摩西、亞倫進去見法老，就照耶和華所吩咐的行。亞倫把杖丟在法老和臣僕面前，杖就變作蛇。

希西家問以賽亞說：「耶和華必醫治我，到第三日，我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼兆頭呢？」

當時，有幾個文士和法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，我們願意你顯個神蹟給我們看。」耶穌回答說：「一個邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟，除了先知約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看。約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，人子也要這樣三日三夜在地裏頭。

你的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈所遭遇的事可作你的證據：他們二人必一日同死。

並且我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手，也要保護這城。「我－耶和華必成就我所說的。我先給你一個兆頭，就是叫亞哈斯的日晷，向前進的日影往後退十度。」於是，前進的日影果然在日晷上往後退了十度。

「你向耶和華－你的神求一個兆頭：或求顯在深處，或求顯在高處。」亞哈斯說：「我不求；我不試探耶和華。」以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們當聽！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？因此，主自己要給你們一個兆頭，必有童女懷孕生子，給他起名叫以馬內利。

又說：「倘或他們不聽你的話，也不信頭一個神蹟，他們必信第二個神蹟。這兩個神蹟若都不信，也不聽你的話，你就從河裏取些水，倒在旱地上，你從河裏取的水必在旱地上變作血。」

「你們中間若有先知或是做夢的起來，向你顯個神蹟奇事，對你說：『我們去隨從你素來所不認識的別神，事奉它吧。』他所顯的神蹟奇事雖有應驗，你也不可聽那先知或是那做夢之人的話；因為這是耶和華－你們的神試驗你們，要知道你們是盡心盡性愛耶和華－你們的神不是。

耶和華說：我在這地方刑罰你們，必有預兆，使你們知道我降禍與你們的話必要立得住。
