That same day the man of God gave a sign:“ This is the sign the Lord has declared: The altar will be split apart and the ashes on it will be poured out.”

That same day the man of God spoke about a miraculous sign. He said,“ Here is the sign the Lord has announced. This altar will be broken to pieces. The ashes on it will be spilled out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

That same day the man of God gave a sign to prove his message. He said,“ The Lord has promised to give this sign: This altar will split apart, and its ashes will be poured out on the ground.”

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the LORD has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

Then he gave a sign on the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken:‘ Behold, the altar shall be torn to pieces and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.’ ”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which Jehovah hath spoken: Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign that day. He said,“ This is the sign that the Lord has spoken:‘ The altar will now be ripped apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.’”

That day he also announced a sign,“ This is the sign the LORD has predetermined: The altar will be split open and the ashes on it will fall to the ground.”

He gave a sign the same day, saying,“ This is the sign which Yahweh has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

犹太人要求神迹，希腊人寻找智慧，

基甸又对他说：“如果我在你眼前蒙恩，求你给我一个凭据，证实是你与我说话。

耶和华说：“把它丢在地上。”摩西把它一丢在地上，它就变了蛇；摩西就逃跑，离开了它。耶和华对摩西说：“伸出你的手来，捉住蛇的尾巴。”摩西就伸出手来，紧握着它，它在摩西的掌中又变回了手杖。“这样就使他们相信耶和华他们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神曾向你显现了。”

犹太人就问他：“你可以显什么神迹给我们看，证明你有权作这些事呢？”

希西家问：“我能上耶和华的殿去，有什么兆头呢？”

摩西和亚伦就进到法老那里，照着耶和华吩咐他们的行了；亚伦把手杖丢在法老和法老的臣仆面前，手杖就变了蛇。

希西家对以赛亚说：“有什么征兆告诉我耶和华必医治我，第三日我能上耶和华的殿呢？”

当时，有一些经学家和法利赛人对耶稣说：“老师，我们想请你显个神迹看看。”但耶稣说：“邪恶和淫乱的世代寻求神迹，除了约拿先知的神迹以外，再没有神迹给你们了。约拿怎样三日三夜在大鱼的腹中，人子也要照样三日三夜在地里。

你的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈所要遭遇的事，是给你的一个证据：他们二人必同日而死。

我必救你和这城脱离亚述王的手；我必保护这城。’以下就是耶和华给你的兆头，为要证明耶和华必成全他所说过的。看哪！我要使亚哈斯日晷上那向前进的日影往后退十级。”于是那向前进的日影，果然在日晷上往后退了十级。

“你向耶和华你的神求一个兆头，或求显在深处，或求显在高处。”但亚哈斯说：“我不求，我不试探耶和华。”以赛亚说：“大卫家啊，你们要听！你们使人厌烦还算小事，还要使我的神厌烦吗？因此主自己必给你们一个兆头：看哪！必有童女怀孕生子；她要给他起名叫‘以马内利’。

耶和华又说：“如果他们不信你，也不听从头一个神迹的话，他们必信随后来的神迹。如果连这两个神迹他们也不信，也不听你的话，你就从河里取些水，倒在旱地上；你从河里取来的水就必在旱地上变成血。”

“你们中间如果有先知，或作梦的人兴起来，给你显示神迹或奇事；（本节在《马索拉文本》为13:2）他告诉你的神迹和奇事应验了，以致他对你说：‘我们去随从别的、你不认识的神，事奉他们吧。’你不可听从那先知或作梦的人的话；因为耶和华你们的神试验你们，要知道你们是不是一心一意爱耶和华你们的神。

“‘我要在这地方惩罚你们，这是给你们的征兆，好使你们知道我说要降祸给你们的话，一定实现。’这是耶和华的宣告。
