Then he went out and found the body lying on the road, with the donkey and the lion standing beside it. The lion had neither eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.

二人乃前、負尸營外、不解其衣、遵摩西命。

可飲溪水、我命阿利冰族、供爾養贍。

方伯州牧邑宰、與王之議士大和會、觀斯三人、火焰不傷、首髮不炙、衣不變色、火燎之臭、亦未之有、王曰、沙得臘、米煞、亞伯尼坷、賴其上帝、余雖降命、彼寧焚其身、不拜他上帝、故上帝遣使救援、當頌美不已。

我之上帝、鑒我無辜、未嘗違逆乎王、遣使箝獅口、俾我免遭吞噬、王欣喜不勝、命取但以理出穴、蓋但以理信其上帝、雖居獅穴、亦不受害、王命曳訟但以理之人、及其妻孥、投於獅穴、未至穴中、獅即嚙之、斷傷其肢體、

忽地大震、獄基皆動、諸門頓啟、械繫盡脫、

火自耶和華出、燬二人、死於耶和華前。

阿利冰族以餅以肉攜之而至、無間朝夕、所飲者此溪之水。

王命孔亟、洪爐倍熱、壯士反為烈燄所燬、

天下生物、滄海巨魚、俱彰耶和華之榮光兮、電閃雹降、雪飄霞起、狂風驟作、俱遵耶和華之命兮、

耶和華云、我立命不易、以沙界海、洪濤澎湃、不得越其防、爾豈不寅畏、戰慄於我前。斯民思叛、中心懷惡、棄予如遺。

彼有信故能服敵國、行公義、獲所許之福、箝獅口、使火燄不傷、鋒刃可避、弱而強、戰而勇、破敵陳、

語之曰、至此則可、不得越其防、爾之洪濤澎湃、至此而止者、非我乎。
