Then he went out and found the body lying on the road, with the donkey and the lion standing beside it. The lion had neither eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.

于是二人走近来，照着摩西的吩咐，把他们连同他们的衣服抬到营外去。

你要喝那溪里的水，我已经吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”

那些总督、总监、省长和王的谋臣，都聚拢来看这三个人，见火无力伤他们的身体；他们的头发没有烧焦，衣服没有烧坏，身上也没有火烧的气味。尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的神是应当称颂的，他差遣使者拯救那些倚靠他的仆人；他们违抗王的命令，宁愿舍命，除了自己的神以外，不肯事奉敬拜任何其他的神。

我的神差遣了他的使者，封住狮子的口，使它们没有伤害我，因为我在神面前是清白的；王啊！在你面前我也没有作过任何错事。”王就非常高兴，吩咐人把但以理从坑里拉上来。于是但以理从坑里被拉上来，他身上一点损伤也没有，因为他信靠他的神。王下令，人就把那些诬蔑控告但以理的人，连同他们的妻子和儿女都一起带来，扔在狮子坑中；他们还没有下到坑底，狮子就抓住他们，把他们所有的骨头都咬碎了。

忽然发生了大地震，以致监牢的地基都摇动起来，所有的监门立刻开了，囚犯的锁链都松了。

那时有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们烧灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。

乌鸦早晨给他送饼和肉来，晚上也送饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。

由于王的命令紧急，窑又烧得非常猛烈，那些把沙得拉、米煞和亚伯尼歌抬起来的人，都被火焰烧死了。

你们要从地上赞美耶和华。海怪和一切深海，火和冰雹，雪和云雾，执行他命令的狂风，

‘你们连我都不惧怕吗？在我面前你们也不战兢吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永远的界限，海就不能越过；波浪翻腾，却不能漫过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法逾越。可是这人民，竟存着顽梗悖逆的心；背我而去。’

他们藉着信，就战胜了敌国，伸张了正义，得到了应许，堵住了狮子的口，消灭了烈火的威力，逃脱了刀剑的锋刃，软弱变成刚强，在战争中显出大能，把外国的军队击退。

说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过，你狂傲的波浪要在这里止住。’
