他就對那從猶大來的神人喊着說：『永恆主這麼說：「你既違背了永恆主所吩咐的，不遵守永恆主你的上帝所囑咐你的命令，

遂向自猶大來之上帝僕呼曰、耶和華云、因爾違耶和華之言、不守爾上帝耶和華所命、

告自猶大而至上帝之僕、曰、耶和華云、因爾違命、不守爾上帝耶和華誡、

謂自猶大來之神人曰、主如是云、因爾違背主言、不守主爾天主所諭爾之誡、

He cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You have defied the word of the Lord and have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you.

He cried out to the man who had come from Judah. He told him,“ The Lord says,‘ You have not done what I told you to do. You have not obeyed the command I gave you. I am the Lord your God.

And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord and have not kept the command that the Lord your God commanded you,

“ Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backsliding will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing, that you have forsaken Yahweh your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

“ Aaron shall be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

When he made mention of God’s ark, Eli fell from off his seat backward by the side of the gate; and his neck broke, and he died, for he was an old man and heavy. He had judged Israel forty years.

Yahweh’s anger burned against Uzzah; and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by God’s ark.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying,‘ I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.

For it was said to me by Yahweh’s word,‘ You shall eat no bread or drink water there, and don’t turn again to go by the way that you came.’”

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said to him,“ Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or will you flee three months before your foes while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days’ pestilence in your land? Now answer, and consider what answer I shall return to him who sent me.”

But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any“ good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any“ good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

Samuel said to Saul,“ You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you; for now Yahweh would have established your kingdom on Israel forever.But now your kingdom will not continue. Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Why then didn’t you obey Yahweh’s voice, but took the plunder, and did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight?”

Samuel said,“ Has Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying Yahweh’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected Yahweh’s word, he has also rejected you from being king.”Saul said to Samuel,“ I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of Yahweh, and your words, because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Their eyes were opened, and they both knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made coverings for themselves.

Why have you despised Yahweh’s word, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken Uriah the Hittite’s wife to be your wife.’“ This is what Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.
