老神言人對他說：『我也是個神言人、和你一樣；有個天使憑着永恆主的話告訴了我說：「你去叫他跟你回家，讓他喫飯喝水。」』——這都是老神言人欺騙他的。——

老先知对他说：“我也是先知，和你一样。有天使奉耶和华的命对我说：‘你去把他带回你的家，叫他吃饭喝水。’”这都是老先知诓哄他。

老先知对他说：“我也是先知，和你一样。有天使遵照耶和华的话对我说：‘你去带他一同回你的家，给他吃饭喝水。’”老先知在欺骗他。

老先知对他说：“我也是先知，和你一样。有天使遵照耶和华的话对我说：‘你去带他一同回你的家，给他吃饭喝水。’”老先知在欺骗他。

老先知就说：“我也是先知，和你一样。耶和华派天使来吩咐我带你到我家吃饭喝水。”

老先知对他说：“我也是先知，和你一样。有一位天使奉耶和华的命令告诉我说：‘你去带他与你一起回家，给他吃饭喝水。’”但是，老先知是欺骗他的。

老先知對他說：「我也是先知，和你一樣。有天使奉耶和華的命對我說：『你去把他帶回你的家，叫他吃飯喝水。』」這都是老先知誆哄他。

老先知對他說：「我也是先知，和你一樣。有天使遵照耶和華的話對我說：『你去帶他一同回你的家，給他吃飯喝水。』」老先知在欺騙他。

老先知對他說：「我也是先知，和你一樣。有天使遵照耶和華的話對我說：『你去帶他一同回你的家，給他吃飯喝水。』」老先知在欺騙他。

老先知就說：「我也是先知，和你一樣。耶和華派天使來吩咐我帶你到我家吃飯喝水。」

老先知曰、我亦先知如爾、有天使奉耶和華命、諭我曰、攜彼歸爾家、俾其食餅飲水、乃誑之也、

伯特利先知紿之曰我乃先知、與爾無異、有天使奉耶和華命告我曰、攜彼同歸、使食餅飲水。

曰、我亦先知、與爾無異、有天使奉主命告我曰、使彼偕爾歸、入爾家食餅飲水、老先知以此言誆之、

The old prophet answered,“ I too am a prophet, as you are. And an angel said to me by the word of the Lord:‘ Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water.’”( But he was lying to him.)

The old prophet answered,“ I’m also a prophet, just like you. An angel gave me a message from the Lord. The message said,‘ Bring the man of God back with you to your house. Then he can eat bread and drink water with you.’ ” But the old prophet was telling him a lie.

And he said to him,“ I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying,‘ Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him.

But the old prophet answered,“ I am a prophet, too, just as you are. And an angel gave me this command from the Lord:‘ Bring him home with you so he can have something to eat and drink.’” But the old man was lying to him.

He said to him,“ I am also a prophet like you. An angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD:‘ Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat food and drink water.’” The old prophet deceived him,

Then he said to him,“ I too am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying,‘ Bring him back with you to your house, so that he may eat bread and drink water.’ ” But he lied to him.

He said to him,“ I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying,‘ Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’”( He was lying to him.)

And he said unto him, I also am a prophet as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of Jehovah, saying, Bring him back with thee into thy house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

He said to him,“ I am also a prophet like you. An angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord:‘ Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water.’” The old prophet deceived him,

He said unto him, I[ am] a prophet also as thou[ art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water.[ But] he lied unto him.

The old prophet then said,“ I too am a prophet like you. An angel told me with the LORD’s authority,‘ Bring him back with you to your house so he can eat and drink.’” But he was lying to him.

He said to him,“ I also am a prophet as you are; and an angel spoke to me by Yahweh’s word, saying,‘ Bring him back with you into your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” He lied to him.

永恆主的使者對巴蘭說：『你同這些人去吧；不過我所吩咐你說的話、你只要那樣說就好啦。』於是巴蘭和巴勒的首領一同去。

『你們要注意提防假的神言人；那種人到你們這裏來，打扮得像羊，裏面卻是勒索的狼。

因為這樣的人不是服事我們的主基督，只是服事自己的肚子；他們用巧言媚語誘惑無邪之人的心。

因為有假基督假神言人將要起來，施行大神迹奇事，為的是、如果可能、連蒙揀選的人也要加以迷惑。

他們否認永恆主，說：「他沒有甚麼；必沒有災禍會臨到我們；刀劍和饑荒、我們也必不會見到。

你看，永恆主發神諭說，那些傳虛假之夢為神言的，那些敘說這些夢，以其虛假和信口自誇使我的人民走錯了路的，我總跟他們作對；我，我沒有差遣他們，我沒有吩咐他們；他們對這人民毫無益處：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

蛇對女人說：『你一定不會死：因為上帝知道你們喫的日子、你們的眼睛就開朗，你們就像上帝一樣，曉得分別善惡。』

因為你們弄虛假事叫義人灰心（並不是我使他灰心），你們又加強惡人的手，使他不回轉離開壞行徑以救活自己，

永恆主的使者來到，坐在聖篤耨香樹之下。就是在俄弗拉、屬亞比以謝族人約阿施的那棵；約阿施的兒子基甸正在酒醡裏打麥子，為要躲避米甸人的眼目。永恆主的使者向基甸顯現，對他說：『有力氣英勇的人哪，永恆主與你同在。』

那獸被逮，那假神言人、就是那在獸面前行過神迹、用神迹迷惑了受獸印記和拜獸像的人的、也和獸一同被逮；這兩個活活地丟在那有硫磺燒着的火湖裏。

但從前在民間竟有了假的神言人呢；照樣子、在你們中間也必有假的教師。這種人必私下引進使人滅亡的派別來，連買他們的主、他們也否認，自己引着迅速快到的滅亡。

但在耶路撒冷的神言人之中我竟見過令人不寒而慄的事：他們居然行姦淫，行虛假事；又加強作壞事者的手，以致無人回轉離開壞事：他們在我面前都像所多瑪，其居民正像蛾摩拉。』

這種人是假使徒，是欺詐的工作者，是化裝為基督使徒的。這並不希奇：因為撒但自己也化裝為亮光之天使啊！所以他的僕役若化裝為正義之僕役，也算不了大事啊！他們的結局總會跟他們的行為相等對的。

就是神言人們以虛假傳神言，祭司們仗着他們的手法來掌權柄；我的人民竟喜愛這樣；到了結局、你們要怎樣行呢？

於是神言人耶利米對神言人哈拿尼雅說：『哈拿尼雅啊，你要聽；永恆主並沒有差遣你；你、竟使這人民倚靠着虛假。因此永恆主這麼說：「看吧，我必打發你離開塵世；就在今年、你就一定死；因為你說了叛逆永恆主的話。」』

我只怕蛇怎樣用牠的狡猾誘惑了夏娃，你們的心意怎樣敗壞、失去了忠於基督的純一心。

永恆主的使者向那婦人顯現，對她說：『注意吧，你向來不能生育，沒有生過孩子，如今你必懷孕，生個兒子。

長老和體面人乃是頭；以虛假指教人的、神言人乃是尾。

他們不斷地對藐視永恆主之話的人說：「你們必平安無事」；又對所有隨着自己頑強之心意而行的人說：「必沒有災禍會臨到你們。」』

我的手必攻擊那見虛謊異象的、攻擊那以謊詐占卜的神言人；他們必不得以列在我人民的議會中，不得以錄在以色列家的族譜上，也不得以進入以色列地；你們就知道我乃是主永恆主。因為他們真地領導我人民走錯了路，說：「平安」，其實沒有平安。就像人、築了薄弱的牆，假神言人倒用灰水去塗抹。
