上帝果然向巴蘭顯現。巴蘭對上帝說：「我已經預備了七座祭壇，每座祭壇上獻了一頭公牛和一隻公綿羊。」耶和華告訴他當說的話，命他回去轉告巴勒。

一個人要是不懂得管理自己的家，又怎能照顧上帝的教會呢？

在審判那天，很多人會對我說，『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行了許多神蹟嗎？』

「人子啊，你要說預言斥責以色列那些說預言的先知，告訴那些私自發預言的人，『你們要聽耶和華的話。

舉目四望，看見以色列人按支派紮營。上帝的靈降在他身上，

因自己的罪而受了責備。不能說話的驢竟然像人一樣說起話來，制止了他狂妄的行為。

過路的人看見屍體倒在路上，旁邊還站著一頭獅子，就去老先知住的城報告這事。
