要听劝言，接受训诲，使你终久有智慧。

你们忽视我一切的劝戒，拒听我的责备。

耶和华的怒气向亚玛谢发作，差派一个先知去见他，对他说：“这些神明不能救自己的百姓脱离你的手，你为何寻求它们呢？”先知与王说话的时候，王对他说：“难道我们立你作王的谋士吗？你住口吧！为何要挨打呢？”先知就止住了，却说：“我知道上帝已定意要消灭你，因为你行这事，不听从我的劝戒。”

不听我的劝戒，藐视我一切的责备，

智慧人的心居右；愚昧人的心居左。愚昧人的行径显出无知，对众人说，他是愚昧人。

要使人懂得智慧和训诲，明白通达的言语，使人领受明智的训诲，就是公义、公平和正直，使愚蒙人灵巧，使年轻人有知识，有智谋。智慧人听见，增长学问，聪明人得着智谋，

智慧人的劝戒在顺从的人耳中，好像金环和金首饰。
