Now when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard about this, he was living in Egypt( for he was still in Egypt, where he had fled from the presence of King Solomon).

When Jeroboam son of Nebat heard this( he was still in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon), he returned from Egypt.

Jeroboam heard about it. He was the son of Nebat. Jeroboam was still in Egypt at that time. He had gone there for safety. He wanted to get away from King Solomon. But now he returned from Egypt.

And as soon as Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it( for he was still in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon), then Jeroboam returned from Egypt.

When Jeroboam son of Nebat heard of this, he returned from Egypt, for he had fled to Egypt to escape from King Solomon.

When Jeroboam son of Nebat heard about it, he stayed in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon’s presence. Jeroboam stayed in Egypt.

So it happened, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard it( he was still in Egypt, for he had fled from the presence of King Solomon and had been dwelling in Egypt),

And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it( for he was yet in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt,

When Jeroboam son of Nebat heard about it, for he was still in Egypt where he had fled from King Solomon’s presence, Jeroboam stayed in Egypt.

And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard[ of it],( for he was fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;)

Now Ahijah had clothed himself with a new cloak; and both of them were alone in the field.Then Ahijah took hold of the new cloak which was on him and tore it into twelve pieces.And he said to Jeroboam,“ Take for yourself ten pieces; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Behold, I am going to tear the kingdom away from the hand of Solomon and give you ten tribes

When Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard about it( he was in Egypt where he had fled from the presence of King Solomon), Jeroboam returned from Egypt.So they sent word and summoned him. When Jeroboam and all Israel came, they spoke to Rehoboam, saying,
