On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites.

There is a hill east of Jerusalem. Solomon built a high place for worshiping Chemosh there. He built a high place for worshiping Molek there too. Chemosh was the god of Moab. Molek was the god of Ammon. The Lord hated both of those gods.

Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem.

On the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, he even built a pagan shrine for Chemosh, the detestable god of Moab, and another for Molech, the detestable god of the Ammonites.

At that time, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abhorrent idol of Moab, and for Milcom, the abhorrent idol of the Ammonites, on the hill across from Jerusalem.

Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abhorrent idol of Moab, on the mountain that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abhorrent idol of the sons of Ammon.

摩押有禍乎、基抹其危哉、厥子遁逃、厥女見攘、俱亞摩哩王西宏所為也。

爾之上帝基抹錫爾之地、爾可得之、我之上帝耶和華錫我之地、我亦得之、

何爾又肩摩落之龕、舉爾上帝臉番之星、即爾所造之像、欲拜之者、我將徙爾於巴比倫外矣、

昔異邦人行可惡之事、耶和華逐之於以色列族中、馬拿西效其尤、作惡於耶和華前。其父希西家廢諸崇坵、馬拿西復建之、築祭壇、宗巴力、作偶像、從以色列王亞哈所為、崇拜天象、而服事焉。

使徒由橄欖山、歸耶路撒冷、此山距耶路撒冷、約安息日所行之程、

自去日所獻之祭品、置殘賊可惡之物於彼、必閱一千二百九十日、

告以色列族、凡爾族中、爰及賓旅、獻子女以享摩洛者、殺無赦、民以石擊之。彼獻子女、以享摩洛、污我聖室、瀆我聖名、我必降罰、絕於民中。若鄰里目擊其事、佯為不見、不置之死、我必罰之、及其眷聚、凡縱私欲奉摩洛、效彼為非者、絕之民中。

昔以色列王所羅門、在耶路撒冷邪僻山側、曾築崇坵、奉西頓人可惡之物亞大綠、摩押人可惡之物基抹、亞捫族可惡之物密君、皆為王所污、毀其像、斫其偶、以骸骨充其所。

則必諮諏詳察、如得其情、果行此惡於爾中、

婦衣紅絳、飾金玉珠璣、執金斝、盛可憎淫穢於中、書奧名於顙云、巴比倫大邑、世之淫婦、與可憎者之母、

虐遇貧乏、強暴是作、不反質、崇敬偶像、多行不義、

我導之入迦南、踐我誓言、彼見高巒茂林、遂獻祭奉禮、焚香灌奠、干我震怒。我雖責之曰、臨登崇坵奚為、迄今民登崇坵、不易其俗。

服事崇拜他上帝、或日月、或天象、為我所禁者。既已風聞、則必諮諏詳察、如得其情、果行此惡於以色列中、

當是日、其足將立於耶路撒冷東之橄欖山、斯山必裂、其半向北崩圮、其半向南崩圮、自東及西、成為巨谷、

昔以色列族抱愧、因恃伯特利故也、摩押族因基抹故以致含羞、亦必若是。

孰能深思其故、奮然儆醒曰、材木之半、焚之可以烘餅炙肉、而供口腹、則其餘材、豈可作像、拜此可憎之榾柮。

爾造日象、築崇邱、我必毀之、棄爾尸骸、以及偶像、共相枕藉、我中心憾爾、

雕刻鎔鑄之像、人工所作、耶和華所惡、有製而立於私地者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

大闢蒙首跣足、陟橄欖山、且陟且哭、侍從左右、亦蒙首哭泣。

既咏詩、往橄欖山、

基底大興干戈、犯鞏固之聖所、去其日獻之祭品、置殘賊可惡之物於彼、

彼築崇邱、干其憤怒、彼事偶像、攖其忿懥兮、

耶穌言畢、升天、眾觀有雲蔽之、而不見、

將二婢及其子置於前、利亞及其子在中、拉結與約瑟在後。

在便欣嫩谷之陀法、約西亞污之、免人在彼焚獻子女、以奉摩洛。

必驅居民、凡勒像於碑、及鎔鑄之偶像、汝必壞之、毀厥崇邱、
