爾可往基提海島而觀、可遣人至基達而詳察、見有如是之事否、列邦之神、雖非天主、豈有以此神更易彼神乎、我民竟以無益之神、更易其榮耀之主、諸天歟、當以此為奇、甚為怪異、甚為驚駭、此乃主所言、我民作惡二端、我乃活水之源、彼反棄我而自鑿井、其井滲漏、不能存水、
