Then it shall be, that if you listen to all that I command you and walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight by keeping My statutes and My commandments, as My servant David did, then I will be with you and build you an enduring house as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.

爾若聽我所命、從我之道、行我所悅、守我典章誡命、如我僕大衛所為、我必偕爾、為爾建鞏固之家室、如為大衛所建、且以以色列族畀爾、

如爾聽從我命、行由我道、作善於我前、守我禁令禮儀、效我僕大闢所為、則我必祐爾、鞏固爾國、與大闢無異、以以色列族畀爾治之。

如爾聽從我命、遵行我道、為善於我前、謹守我律例誡命、效我僕大衛所為、則我必祐祐原文作偕爾、為爾建立恆久之家、如我為大衛建立然、將以色列人賜爾、

If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you.

Do everything I command you to do. Live the way I want you to. Do what is right in my eyes. Obey my rules and commands. That is what my servant David did. If you do those things, I will be with you. I will build you a kingdom. It will last as long as the one I built for David. I will give Israel to you.

And if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, I will be with you and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.

If you listen to what I tell you and follow my ways and do whatever I consider to be right, and if you obey my decrees and commands, as my servant David did, then I will always be with you. I will establish an enduring dynasty for you as I did for David, and I will give Israel to you.

“‘ After that, if you obey all I command you, walk in my ways, and do what is right in my sight in order to keep my statutes and my commands as my servant David did, I will be with you. I will build you a lasting dynasty just as I built for David, and I will give you Israel.

Then it shall be, if you heed all that I command you, walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as My servant David did, then I will be with you and build for you an enduring house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that which is right in mine eyes, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and will build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

“‘ After that, if you obey all I command you, walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight in order to keep My statutes and My commands as My servant David did, I will be with you. I will build you a lasting dynasty just as I built for David, and I will give you Israel.

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do[ that is] right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

You must obey all I command you to do, follow my instructions, do what I approve, and keep my rules and commandments, like my servant David did. Then I will be with you and establish for you a lasting dynasty, as I did for David; I will give you Israel.

It shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do that which is right in my eyes, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

even from the day that I appointed judges over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. The Lord also declares to you that the Lord will make a house for you.

No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you nor abandon you.

And the Lord is the one who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.”

if only you listen obediently to the voice of the Lord your God, to follow carefully all this commandment which I am commanding you today.

“ As for this house which you are building, if you will walk in My statutes and execute My ordinances and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will fulfill My word with you which I spoke to David your father.

so that Your name may be great forever, by saying,‘ The Lord of armies is God over Israel’; and may the house of Your servant David be established before You.For You, Lord of armies, God of Israel, have given a revelation to Your servant, saying,‘ I will build you a house’; therefore Your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to You.Now then, Lord God, You are God, and Your words are truth; and You have promised this good thing to Your servant.And now, may it please You to bless the house of Your servant, so that it may continue forever before You. For You, Lord God, have spoken; and with Your blessing may the house of Your servant be blessed forever.”

Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;

even from the day that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I tell you that the Lord will build a house for you.

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ If you walk in My ways and perform My service, then you will both govern My house and be in charge of My courtyards, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.

Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

And if you walk in My ways, keeping My statutes and commandments, as your father David walked, then I will prolong your days.”

Let Your name be established and be great forever, saying,‘ The Lord of armies is the God of Israel, a God to Israel; and the house of Your servant David is established before You.’For You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build him a house; therefore Your servant has found courage to pray before You.Now, Lord, You are God, and have promised this good thing to Your servant.And now You have decided to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You; for You, Lord, have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”

As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and honesty, acting in accordance with everything that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My ordinances,then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I promised to your father David, saying,‘ You shall not be deprived of a man on the throne of Israel.’

Go, say to Jeroboam,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:“ Because I exalted you from among the people and made you leader over My people Israel,and tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you— yet you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, to do only that which was right in My sight;you also have done more evil than all who were before you, and you have gone and made for yourself other gods and cast metal images to provoke Me to anger, and have thrown Me behind your back—therefore behold, I am bringing disaster on the house of Jeroboam, and I will eliminate from Jeroboam every male person, both bond and free in Israel, and I will make a clean sweep of the house of Jeroboam, just as one sweeps away dung until it is all gone.Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city, the dogs will eat. And anyone who dies in the field, the birds of the sky will eat; for the Lord has spoken it.” ’Now you, arise, go to your house. When your feet enter the city the child will die.Then all Israel will mourn for him and bury him, for he alone of Jeroboam’s family will come to the grave, because in him something good was found toward the Lord God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.Moreover, the Lord will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will eliminate the house of Jeroboam this day and from now on.
