大衛與祖先同眠後，葬在大衛城。

耶和華在米甸對摩西說：「你只管放心回埃及去，想害你性命的人都已經死了。」

約瑟送弟兄們回去，囑咐他們路上不要爭吵。

「起來，帶著孩子和祂母親回以色列去吧！因為要殺害孩子的人已經死了。」

耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅就去把約押殺死，葬在曠野約押自己的墓地。

次日黎明時分，撒母耳呼喚屋頂上的掃羅：「起來吧，我該送你上路了。」於是掃羅起床後，與撒母耳一起往外走。

喇合答道：「一言為定！」於是她送走他們，把朱紅色的繩子繫在窗戶上。

押尼珥對大衛說：「我要為我主我王招聚所有的以色列人，跟你立約，你便可以如願以償，統治全以色列。」於是大衛為他送行，他就平安地回去了。
