Praise be to the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on the throne of Israel. Because of the Lord’s eternal love for Israel, he has made you king to maintain justice and righteousness.”

May the Lord your God be praised. He takes great delight in you. He placed you on the throne of Israel. The Lord will love Israel for all time to come. That’s why he has made you king. He knows that you will do what is fair and right.”

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必給大衛興起一個憑義氣救人的苗裔；他必掌王權，精明而亨通，在國中秉公而行義。當他執政的日子猶大必得救，以色列必安然居住；那時他必稱為「永恆主使我們得勝的義氣」：這就是他的名字。

看哪，我的僕人，我所扶持，所揀選，我心裏所喜悅的；我將我的靈賜於他身上，他必將正義傳出到列國。

『嘿，輥交於永恆主！讓永恆主解救他吧！永恆主既喜愛他，讓永恆主援救他吧！』

願他的名存到永遠，願他的名長立於日光之下；願人都用他的名而給自己祝福；願萬國都稱他為有福。永恆主上帝、以色列之上帝、那獨行奇妙事的、是當受祝頌的。他榮耀之名是當受祝頌到永遠的；願他的榮耀充滿了全地。阿們！阿們！

雅各的上帝說道，以色列的磐石告訴我說：一個憑公義統治人的、一個存敬畏上帝之心來統治人的；

而你卻使你人民以色列做你自己的子民到永遠；而且你、永恆主啊、你又作了他們的上帝。

作官的原不是叫有善行的懼怕，乃是叫有惡行的懼怕。你願意不懼怕政權麼？須要行善，就可以從它得讚許；因為它是為你的好處而做上帝僕役的。但你若行惡，就該懼怕；因為它並不是徒然佩帶刀劍權力；它是上帝的僕役，是刑罰者，使上帝之義怒臨到作惡之人的。

看吧，有一個王憑公義而作王，有官長按公平而作官，個個就都像避風所和隱匿處、讓人可避暴雨，都像水溝在乾透了之地，像大碞石的影子在人疲乏之地。

他領了我出去到寬闊之地；他救拔了我，因為他喜愛我。

他的政權宏大，他的泰平無窮，在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義堅立而支持它，從今時直到永遠。萬軍之永恆主的熱心必成就這事。

乃是因為永恆主愛你們，他是在守着他向你們列祖所起的誓，他才用大力的手把你們領出來，把你們從為奴之家贖救出來、脫離埃及王法老的手。

你必不再稱為「被撇棄的」，你的地必不再稱為「荒涼的」，你卻要稱為：「我所喜悅的就是她；」你的地必稱為「有夫之婦」；因為永恆主喜悅了你，你的地必有丈夫。

他憑義氣為貧寒人申正義，以正直判斷國中的困苦人；他以口中的杖擊打強橫人，以嘴裏的氣殺死惡人。公義必做他腰間的圍帶，忠信必做他脅下的束巾。

靠着我、君王掌王權；人君定公義的律例；靠着我、王子能治國；權貴能管理大地。
