大衛為以色列全族之王、為其民眾施行公義、

推羅王戶蘭覆書於所羅門曰、耶和華惠愛其民、故立爾為其王、

耶和華曰、時日將至、我必為大衛興一義者、乃其條肄、彼將秉權為王、以智處事、秉公行義於斯土、當彼之時、猶大獲救、以色列安居、其名必稱曰耶和華乃我義、

以色列之上帝有言、以色列之磐石謂我曰、以義治人、寅畏上帝、而秉權者、

爾立以色列民永為爾民、爾耶和華為其上帝、

蓋有司非行善者所畏、乃行惡者所畏耳、爾欲弗畏權、惟行善則得其褒、蓋彼為上帝之役、以益爾、爾若行惡則畏之、以其非徒佩劍、乃為上帝役、以怒加諸行惡者、

將有一王以義而王、牧伯以公為治、其人若逃狂風之所、若避暴雨之區、若川流之水、在旱乾之處、若巨磐之蔭、在困人之地、

導我入寬廣之區、施行救援以其悅我兮、

其政治與和平、有加無已、在於大衛之位、治理其國、以公以義建立之、保定之、自今迄於永遠、萬軍耶和華之熱中、將成此焉、○

惟因耶和華悅爾、欲踐所誓爾祖之言、以大能手導爾出、贖爾於奴隸之室、拯爾於埃及王法老之手、

爾不復稱為被棄者、地不復稱為荒蕪者、爾必稱為我之所悅、地必稱為有夫、蓋耶和華悅爾、爾地必歸之、

秉公義以鞫貧乏者、持中正以擬世之謙卑者、以口杖擊斯土、以脣氣殺惡人、義以束腰、信以束身、

列王恃我秉鈞、牧伯恃我宣義、侯伯顯貴、世上士師、恃我操權、
