Praise be to the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on the throne of Israel. Because of the Lord’s eternal love for Israel, he has made you king to maintain justice and righteousness.”

May the Lord your God be praised. He takes great delight in you. He placed you on the throne of Israel. The Lord will love Israel for all time to come. That’s why he has made you king. He knows that you will do what is fair and right.”

Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel! Because the Lord loved Israel forever, he has made you king, that you may execute justice and righteousness.”

願他以公義審斷你的子民，以公正審斷屬你的困苦人；

大衛作王統治全以色列，大衛為所有百姓實行公正和公義。

「看哪，我的僕人——我所扶持、我所揀選、我心所喜悅的！我已經把我的靈賜給他，他必給列國帶來公正。

「他把自己交託給耶和華了，讓耶和華搭救他吧！既然耶和華喜悅他，就讓耶和華解救他！」

願他的名存到永遠，如太陽長久；願人們因他蒙福，願所有的國家都稱他有福。耶和華神——獨行奇事的以色列的神，是當受頌讚的！他榮耀的名是當受頌讚的，直到永遠；願他的榮耀充滿全地！阿們，阿們！

以色列的神發話，以色列的磐石對我說：「那以公義統治人民，存敬畏神的心施行統治的，

事實上，對良善的行為，掌權者並不是可怕的；而對邪惡的行為，他才是可怕的。那麼，你想要不懼怕掌權的，就應當做良善的事。這樣，你就會得到他的稱讚。要知道，他是神的僕役，對你是有益處的。但你如果作惡，就該懼怕，因為他不是毫無理由的佩帶刀劍。他是神的僕役，是報應者，使震怒臨到作惡的人。

看哪！必有一王憑公義統治，必有首領們按公正治理；個個都像避風所和避暴雨的隱祕處，又像荒漠中的溪水，像乾旱之地大磐石的蔭庇。

他把我領到寬闊之地；他搭救了我，因為他喜悅我。

他的政權與平安必加增無窮；他必在大衛的寶座上統管他的國，以公正和公義使國堅立穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

你不再被稱為「遭遺棄的」，你的地也不再被稱為「荒涼的」；你必被稱為「我所喜悅的」，你的地也必被稱為「有丈夫的」；因為耶和華喜悅你，你的地也必有丈夫。

他必以公義審斷貧弱者，以正直裁決世上的卑微人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。公義必作他的束帶，信實必作他的腰帶。

藉著我，君王施行統治，掌權者立定公義。藉著我，首領們、高貴的人、所有公義的審判官統管治理。
