Solomon replied,“ If he proves himself to be loyal, not a hair on his head will be touched. But if he makes trouble, he will die.”

所罗门说：“他若作忠义的人，连一根头发也不致落在地上；他若行恶，必要死亡。”

所罗门说：“他若是作一个忠义的人，他的头发连一根也不会掉在地上；但在他身上若是发现有什么恶行，他必定死。”

所羅門曰、如其為善人、則彼之一髮、不隕於地、如其作惡、則必死亡、

所羅門曰、如其為義士、則彼之髮一毫不隕、若其作惡、則必死亡。

所羅門曰、若其為善人、善人或作義士則彼之一髮亦不隕地、若其作惡、則必死亡、

Solomon replied,“ If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.”

Solomon replied,“ Let him show that he’s a man people can respect. Then not even one hair on his head will fall to the ground. But if I find out he’s done something evil, he will die.”

And Solomon said,“ If he will show himself a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the earth, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said,“ If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

And Solomon said, If he shall show himself a worthy man, there shall not a hair of him fall to the earth; but if wickedness be found in him, he shall die.

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.

Solomon said,“ If he is a loyal subject, not a hair of his head will be harmed, but if he is found to be a traitor, he will die.”

Solomon said,“ If he shows himself a worthy man, not a hair of his shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

But the people broke in and said to Saul,“ Jonathan has won this great victory for Israel. Should he die? Far from it! As surely as the Lord lives, not one hair on his head will be touched, for God helped him do a great deed today.” So the people rescued Jonathan, and he was not put to death.

Then she said,“ Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied,“ not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”

“ Please eat something now for your own good. For not a hair of your heads will perish.”

They dare not go out into the darkness for fear they will be murdered.

And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.

Godliness guards the path of the blameless, but the evil are misled by sin.

The Righteous One knows what is going on in the homes of the wicked; he will bring disaster on them.

“ Then let your brother Adonijah marry Abishag, the girl from Shunem,” she replied.“ How can you possibly ask me to give Abishag to Adonijah?” King Solomon demanded.“ You might as well ask me to give him the kingdom! You know that he is my older brother, and that he has Abiathar the priest and Joab son of Zeruiah on his side.”Then King Solomon made a vow before the Lord:“ May God strike me and even kill me if Adonijah has not sealed his fate with this request.The Lord has confirmed me and placed me on the throne of my father, David; he has established my dynasty as he promised. So as surely as the Lord lives, Adonijah will die this very day!”So King Solomon ordered Benaiah son of Jehoiada to execute him, and Adonijah was put to death.

But not a hair of your head will perish!
