Solomon replied,“ If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.”

所羅門曰、如其為善人、則彼之一髮、不隕於地、如其作惡、則必死亡、

所羅門曰、如其為義士、則彼之髮一毫不隕、若其作惡、則必死亡。

所羅門曰、若其為善人、善人或作義士則彼之一髮亦不隕地、若其作惡、則必死亡、

Solomon replied,“ Let him show that he’s a man people can respect. Then not even one hair on his head will fall to the ground. But if I find out he’s done something evil, he will die.”

And Solomon said,“ If he will show himself a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the earth, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Solomon replied,“ If he proves himself to be loyal, not a hair on his head will be touched. But if he makes trouble, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said,“ If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

And Solomon said, If he shall show himself a worthy man, there shall not a hair of him fall to the earth; but if wickedness be found in him, he shall die.

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.

Solomon said,“ If he is a loyal subject, not a hair of his head will be harmed, but if he is found to be a traitor, he will die.”

Solomon said,“ If he shows himself a worthy man, not a hair of his shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

But the men said to Saul,“ Should Jonathan die— he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Never! As surely as the Lord lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground, for he did this today with God’s help.” So the men rescued Jonathan, and he was not put to death.

She said,“ Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head.”

He despairs of escaping the realm of darkness; he is marked for the sword.

And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.

The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin.

So she said,“ Let Abishag the Shunammite be given in marriage to your brother Adonijah.”King Solomon answered his mother,“ Why do you request Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? You might as well request the kingdom for him— after all, he is my older brother— yes, for him and for Abiathar the priest and Joab son of Zeruiah!”Then King Solomon swore by the Lord:“ May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if Adonijah does not pay with his life for this request!And now, as surely as the Lord lives— he who has established me securely on the throne of my father David and has founded a dynasty for me as he promised— Adonijah shall be put to death today!”So King Solomon gave orders to Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he struck down Adonijah and he died.

But not a hair of your head will perish.
