Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

所罗门说：“他若作忠义的人，连一根头发也不致落在地上；他若行恶，必要死亡。”

所羅門曰、如其為善人、則彼之一髮、不隕於地、如其作惡、則必死亡、

所羅門曰、如其為義士、則彼之髮一毫不隕、若其作惡、則必死亡。

所羅門曰、若其為善人、善人或作義士則彼之一髮亦不隕地、若其作惡、則必死亡、

Solomon replied,“ If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.”

Solomon replied,“ Let him show that he’s a man people can respect. Then not even one hair on his head will fall to the ground. But if I find out he’s done something evil, he will die.”

And Solomon said,“ If he will show himself a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the earth, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Solomon replied,“ If he proves himself to be loyal, not a hair on his head will be touched. But if he makes trouble, he will die.”

And Solomon said,“ If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

And Solomon said, If he shall show himself a worthy man, there shall not a hair of him fall to the earth; but if wickedness be found in him, he shall die.

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.

Solomon said,“ If he is a loyal subject, not a hair of his head will be harmed, but if he is found to be a traitor, he will die.”

Solomon said,“ If he shows himself a worthy man, not a hair of his shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

But the people said to Saul,“ Must Jonathan die? He accomplished such a great deliverance for Israel! No, as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground, for he worked with God’s help today.” So the people redeemed Jonathan, and he did not die.

She replied,“ Please, may the king invoke the LORD your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son!”“ As the LORD lives,” he vowed,“ not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.”

So I urge you to take some food. For this is for your survival, since none of you will lose a hair from your head.”

He doesn’t believe he will return from darkness; he is destined for the sword.

But even the hairs of your head have all been counted.

Righteousness guards people of integrity, but wickedness undermines the sinner.

The Righteous One considers the house of the wicked; he brings the wicked to ruin.

So she said,“ Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to your brother Adonijah as a wife.”King Solomon answered his mother,“ Why are you requesting Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Since he is my elder brother, you might as well ask the kingship for him, for the priest Abiathar, and for Joab son of Zeruiah.”Then King Solomon took an oath by the LORD:“ May God punish me and do so severely if Adonijah has not made this request at the cost of his life.And now, as the LORD lives— the one who established me, seated me on the throne of my father David, and made me a dynasty as he promised— I swear Adonijah will be put to death today!”Then King Solomon dispatched Benaiah son of Jehoiada, who struck down Adonijah, and he died.

but not a hair of your head will be lost.
