And Solomon said, If he shall show himself a worthy man, there shall not a hair of him fall to the earth; but if wickedness be found in him, he shall die.

所罗门说：“他若作忠义的人，连一根头发也不致落在地上；他若行恶，必要死亡。”

所罗门说：“他若是作一个忠义的人，他的头发连一根也不会掉在地上；但在他身上若是发现有什么恶行，他必定死。”

所羅門曰、如其為善人、則彼之一髮、不隕於地、如其作惡、則必死亡、

所羅門曰、如其為義士、則彼之髮一毫不隕、若其作惡、則必死亡。

所羅門曰、若其為善人、善人或作義士則彼之一髮亦不隕地、若其作惡、則必死亡、

Solomon replied,“ If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.”

Solomon replied,“ Let him show that he’s a man people can respect. Then not even one hair on his head will fall to the ground. But if I find out he’s done something evil, he will die.”

And Solomon said,“ If he will show himself a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the earth, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Solomon replied,“ If he proves himself to be loyal, not a hair on his head will be touched. But if he makes trouble, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said,“ If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Then Solomon said,“ If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground, but if evil is found in him, he dies.”

And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.

Solomon said,“ If he is a loyal subject, not a hair of his head will be harmed, but if he is found to be a traitor, he will die.”

Solomon said,“ If he shows himself a worthy man, not a hair of his shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? Far from it: as Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember Jehovah thy God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

Wherefore I beseech you to take some food: for this is for your safety: for there shall not a hair perish from the head of any of you.

He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, And he is waited for of the sword.

but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; But wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

The righteous man considereth the house of the wicked, How the wicked are overthrown to their ruin.

And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother to wife.And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.Then king Solomon sware by Jehovah, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah hath not spoken this word against his own life.Now therefore as Jehovah liveth, who hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me a house, as he promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death this day.And king Solomon sent by Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him, so that he died.

And not a hair of your head shall perish.
