Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people shouted,“ Long live King Solomon!”

Zadok the priest had taken an animal horn from the sacred tent. The horn was filled with olive oil. He anointed Solomon with the oil. A trumpet was blown. All the people shouted,“ May King Solomon live a long time!”

There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said,“ Long live King Solomon!”

There Zadok the priest took the flask of olive oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon with the oil. Then they sounded the ram’s horn and all the people shouted,“ Long live King Solomon!”

And Zadok the priest then took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said,“ Long live King Solomon!”

And Zadok the priest took the horn of oil out of the Tent, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, Long live king Solomon.

And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon.

Zadok the priest took a horn filled with olive oil from the tent and poured it on Solomon; the trumpet was blown and all the people declared,“ Long live King Solomon!”

I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

and ate and drank before Yahweh on that day with great gladness. They made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before Yahweh to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.

Let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel. Blow the trumpet, and say,‘ Long live king Solomon!’

Samuel said to all the people,“ Do you see him whom Yahweh has chosen, that there is no one like him among all the people?” All the people shouted, and said,“ Long live the king!”

“ Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil.You shall make it into a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant,the table and all its articles, the lamp stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its base.You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, and do not make any like it, according to its composition. It is holy. It shall be holy to you.Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”

Then she looked, and, behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king. All the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets. The singers also played musical instruments, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and said,“ Treason! treason!”

Then he brought out the king’s son, and put the crown on him, and gave him the covenant; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said,“ Long live the king!”

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the middle of his brothers. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

For he has gone down today, and has slain cattle, fatlings, and sheep in abundance, and has called all the king’s sons, the captains of the army, and Abiathar the priest. Behold, they are eating and drinking before him, and saying,‘ Long live king Adonijah!’

Then they brought out the king’s son, and put the crown on him, and gave him the covenant, and made him king. Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and they said,“ Long live the king!”
