Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people shouted,“ Long live King Solomon!”

Zadok the priest had taken an animal horn from the sacred tent. The horn was filled with olive oil. He anointed Solomon with the oil. A trumpet was blown. All the people shouted,“ May King Solomon live a long time!”

臣僕大闢、既為我得、沐以聖膏兮、

在耶和華前、式飲式食、欣喜懽忭、以大闢子所羅門再立為王、奉耶和華命、沐之以膏、俾作民主、以撒督為祭司長、

使祭司撒督、與先知拿單、沐之以膏、為以色列王、吹角曰、願所羅門王千歲。

撒母耳告民曰、爾觀耶和華所簡者、億兆之中、無能比儗。民歡呼曰、願王千歲。

必取芬芳之上品、即清沒藥五百分、香桂二百五十分、香菖蒲二百五十分、肉桂五百分、和以橄欖油十斤、權衡其數、必循聖所之法、以調劑之法、製為聖膏、必以是膏、塗會幕與法匱、几案燈臺與其器皿、香壇、祭壇、與其器皿、盤與座、均使之為至聖、惟成聖者可近其側。以膏膏亞倫、及其子、使之成聖、任為祭司、而奉事我。當告以色列族曰、此香膏乃聖物、以奉事我、歷世勿替。此膏必以為聖、惟膏祭司、毋膏他人、毋遵是法調劑他膏。凡遵是法調劑他膏、或以之膏他人者、必絕於民中。○

見王立於臺及門、又見群臣與吹角者侍於王側、鳴角謳歌、操樂器、斯土之民歡然欣喜、乃裂其衣、呼曰爾黨其謀叛乎、爾黨其謀叛乎。

祭司扶王子出、戴王冕、執律法之書、遂立為王、沐之以膏、鼓掌呼曰、願王千歲。

撒母耳取角中之膏以沐之、兄弟咸睹、自是以後、耶和華之神感大闢、撒母耳啟行、歸於拉馬。○

今日彼宰牛羊肥畜、難以悉數、請王眾子、與軍長、及祭司亞庇亞塔、俱飲食於前、呼曰、願亞多尼雅王千歲。

遂扶王子出、戴王冕、執律法之書、立為王、耶何耶大及其子沐之以膏、曰、願王千歲、
