Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people shouted,“ Long live King Solomon!”

Zadok the priest had taken an animal horn from the sacred tent. The horn was filled with olive oil. He anointed Solomon with the oil. A trumpet was blown. All the people shouted,“ May King Solomon live a long time!”

There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said,“ Long live King Solomon!”

“你要取上品的香料，就是流质的没药五百舍客勒，香肉桂一半，就是二百五十舍客勒，菖蒲二百五十舍客勒，桂皮五百舍客勒，都按着圣所的平，又取橄榄油一欣，按做香之法调和做成圣膏油。要用这膏油抹会幕和法柜，桌子与桌子的一切器具，灯台和灯台的器具，并香坛、燔祭坛，和坛的一切器具，洗濯盆和盆座。要使这些物成为圣，好成为至圣；凡挨着的都成为圣。要膏亚伦和他的儿子，使他们成为圣，可以给我供祭司的职分。你要对以色列人说：‘这油，我要世世代代以为圣膏油。不可倒在别人的身上，也不可按这调和之法做与此相似的。这膏油是圣的，你们也要以为圣。凡调和与此相似的，或将这膏膏在别人身上的，这人要从民中剪除。’”

看见王站在殿门的柱旁，百夫长和吹号的人侍立在王左右，国民都欢乐吹号，又有歌唱的，用各样的乐器领人歌唱赞美；亚他利雅就撕裂衣服，喊叫说：“反了！反了！”

祭司领王子出来，给他戴上冠冕，将律法书交给他，膏他作王；众人就拍掌说：“愿王万岁！”

撒母耳就用角里的膏油，在他诸兄中膏了他。从这日起，耶和华的灵就大大感动大卫。撒母耳起身回拉玛去了。

他今日下去，宰了许多牛羊、肥犊，请了王的众子和军长，并祭司亚比亚他；他们正在亚多尼雅面前吃喝，说：‘愿亚多尼雅王万岁！’

于是领王子出来，给他戴上冠冕，将律法书交给他，立他作王。耶何耶大和众子膏他，众人说：“愿王万岁！”
