求天主以主之判斷賜教於王、以主之公義、賜示於王之子、彼必彼必或作願彼按公義判斷主之民、以平正判斷主民之窮困人、

主以色列之天主、在我父之全家中、特選我永為以色列王、選猶大支派為長、在猶大支派中、選我父家為最、在我父眾子中悅我、立我為以色列眾之王、主賜我多子、在我眾子中、選我子所羅門坐主之國位、以治以色列人、

曰、我主曾指主爾之天主誓於婢曰、爾子所羅門必繼我為王、必坐我之位、

曰、爾知國位原屬我、且以色列人眾皆盼我為王、不意國位反歸我弟、蓋其事出乎主也、
