Then Nathan said,“ My lord the king, have you yourself said,‘ Adonijah shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?

拿单说：“我主我王果然应许亚多尼雅说‘你必接续我作王，坐在我的位上’吗？

拿单说：“我主我王，你果真说过‘亚多尼雅必接续我作王，他要坐在我的王位上’吗？

拿单说：“我主我王，你果真说过‘亚多尼雅必接续我作王，他要坐在我的王位上’吗？

说：“我主我王啊，你已经宣布让亚多尼雅继承你的王位，坐你的宝座吗？

拿单说：“我主我王啊，你曾说过：‘亚多尼雅要接续我作王，坐在我的王位上’吗？

拿單說：「我主我王果然應許亞多尼雅說『你必接續我作王，坐在我的位上』嗎？

拿單說：「我主我王，你果真說過『亞多尼雅必接續我作王，他要坐在我的王位上』嗎？

拿單說：「我主我王，你果真說過『亞多尼雅必接續我作王，他要坐在我的王位上』嗎？

說：「我主我王啊，你已經宣佈讓亞多尼雅繼承你的王位，坐你的寶座嗎？

拿單說：“我主我王啊，你曾說過：‘亞多尼雅要接續我作王，坐在我的王位上’嗎？

拿單說：『我主我王啊，你曾經說：「亞多尼雅必接續我作王，坐我的位」吧？

曰、我主我王、爾豈言亞多尼雅繼我為王、而坐我位乎、

曰我主我王、豈言亞多尼雅必踐爾位、繼爾為王乎。

拿單曰、我主我王、果言亞多尼雅必繼王為王而坐王位乎、

Nathan said,“ Have you, my lord the king, declared that Adonijah shall be king after you, and that he will sit on your throne?

Nathan said,“ You are my king and master. Have you announced that Adonijah will be king after you? Have you said he will sit on your throne?

And Nathan said,“ My lord the king, have you said,‘ Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?

Nathan asked,“ My lord the king, have you decided that Adonijah will be the next king and that he will sit on your throne?

“ My lord the king,” Nathan said,“ did you say,‘ Adonijah is to become king after me, and he is the one who is to sit on my throne’?

And Nathan said,“ My Lord, O king, have you said,‘ Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?

And Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?

“ My lord the king,” Nathan said,“ did you say,‘ Adonijah is to become king after me, and he is the one who is to sit on my throne’?

And Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?

Nathan said,“ My master, O king, did you announce,‘ Adonijah will be king after me; he will sit on my throne’?

Nathan said,“ My lord, king, have you said,‘ Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne?’

Go at once to King David and say to him,‘ Have you not, my lord the king, sworn to your servant, saying,“ Solomon your son certainly shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then has Adonijah become king?’Behold, while you are still there speaking with the king, I will come in after you and confirm your words.”

So she said to him,“ My lord, you yourself swore to your servant by the Lord your God, saying,‘ Your son Solomon certainly shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’But now, behold, Adonijah is king; and now, my lord the king, you do not know it.

Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying,“ I will be king.” So he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, with fifty men to run before him.
