So his attendants spoke to him. They said,“ You are our king and master. Please let us try to find a young virgin to serve you. She can take care of you. She can lie down beside you to keep you warm.”

所以臣仆对他说：“不如为我主我王寻找一个处女，使她伺候王，奉养王，睡在王的怀中，好叫我主我王得暖。”

臣仆对他说：“不如为我主我王找一个年轻的少女，侍立在王面前，照顾王，睡在王的怀中，好使我主我王得暖。”

臣仆对他说：“不如为我主我王找一个年轻的少女，侍立在王面前，照顾王，睡在王的怀中，好使我主我王得暖。”

他的臣仆建议：“不如选一位少女进宫伺候、照顾我主我王，让她睡在王怀中给王取暖。”

所以他的臣仆对他说：“不如为我主我王寻找一个年轻的处女，使她侍候在王面前，照顾王，睡在王的怀中，好使我主我王得到暖和。”

所以臣僕對他說：「不如為我主我王尋找一個處女，使她伺候王，奉養王，睡在王的懷中，好叫我主我王得暖。」

臣僕對他說：「不如為我主我王找一個年輕的少女，侍立在王面前，照顧王，睡在王的懷中，好使我主我王得暖。」

他的臣僕建議：「不如選一位少女進宮伺候、照顧我主我王，讓她睡在王懷中給王取暖。」

所以他的臣僕對他說：“不如為我主我王尋找一個年輕的處女，使她侍候在王面前，照顧王，睡在王的懷中，好使我主我王得到暖和。”

於是臣僕對他說：『請讓人為我主我王尋找個年少的處女，使她侍立在王面前，做王的護士，睡在王懷中，好使我主我王得暖和。』

臣僕告曰、當為我主我王、求一處女、侍於王前、以奉養王、臥於王懷、使我主我王得溫暖焉、

臣僕告曰、緣我主我王之故、必求處女、侍於王側、為王左右、卧於王懷、使我主我王得溫焉。

臣僕謂之曰、不如為我主我王、尋一處女、可侍於王前、奉養王、臥於王之懷、庶我主我王得暖焉、

So his attendants said to him,“ Let us look for a young virgin to serve the king and take care of him. She can lie beside him so that our lord the king may keep warm.”

Therefore his servants said to him,“ Let a young woman be sought for my lord the king, and let her wait on the king and be in his service. Let her lie in your arms, that my lord the king may be warm.”

So his advisers told him,“ Let us find a young virgin to wait on you and look after you, my lord. She will lie in your arms and keep you warm.”

So his servants said to him,“ Let us search for a young virgin for my lord the king. She is to attend the king and be his caregiver. She is to lie by your side so that my lord the king will get warm.”

So his servants said to him,“ Have them search for a young virgin for my lord the king, and have her attend the king and become his nurse; and have her lie on your chest, so that my lord the king may keep warm.”

Therefore his servants said to him,“ Let a young woman, a virgin, be sought for our Lord the king, and let her stand before the king, and let her care for him; and let her lie in your bosom, that our Lord the king may be warm.”

Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and cherish him; and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat.

So his servants said to him:“ Let us search for a young virgin for my lord the king. She is to attend the king and be his caregiver. She is to lie by your side so that my lord the king will get warm.”

Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat.

His servants advised him,“ A young virgin must be found for our master, the king, to take care of the king’s needs and serve as his nurse. She can also sleep with you and keep our master, the king, warm.”

Therefore his servants said to him,“ Let a young virgin be sought for my lord the king. Let her stand before the king, and cherish him; and let her lie in your bosom, that my lord the king may keep warm.”

Then Sarai said to Abram,“ It’s your fault that I’m suffering like this. I put my slave in your arms. Now that she knows she’s pregnant, she looks down on me. May the Lord judge between you and me. May he decide which of us is right.”

David went to Saul and began to serve him. Saul liked him very much. David became one of the men who carried Saul’s armor.Saul sent a message to Jesse. Saul said,“ Let David stay here. I want him to serve me. I’m pleased with him.”

At that time the Lord set the tribe of Levi apart. He appointed them to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord. He wanted them to serve him. He told them to bless the people in his name. And they still do it today.

My sons, don’t fail to obey the Lord. He has chosen you to stand in front of him and work for him. He wants you to serve him and burn incense to him.”

But all the poor man had was one little female lamb. He had bought it. He raised it. It grew up with him and his children. It shared his food. It drank from his cup. It even slept in his arms. It was just like a daughter to him.

Suppose your very own brother or sister secretly tempts you to do something wrong. Or your child or the wife you love tempts you. Or your closest friend does it. Suppose one of them says,“ Let’s go and worship other gods.” But you and your people of long ago hadn’t known anything about those gods before.

Or suppose two people lie down together. Then they’ll keep warm. But how can one person keep warm alone?

Don’t trust your neighbors. Don’t put your faith in your friends. Be careful what you say even to your own wife.
