不过当那位真理的灵来了，他就会引导你们进入一切真理。那时，他不会凭着自己说话，只把所听到的说出来，并且把那些就要来的事传讲给你们。

他就是真理的灵，是世界不能接受的，因为世界看不到他，也不认识他。而你们认识他，因为他与你们同在，并且要在你们里面。

来到了耶稣面前——他是新约的中保；来到了所洒的血面前——这血比亚伯的血所述说的更美好。

因为这是我的血，是为立约的，为许多人所流的，使罪得赦免。

耶稣对他们说：“这是我的血，是为立约的，为许多人所流的。

他拯救了我们；这不是本于我们所做的义行，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗涤和圣灵的更新。

他们唱着一首新歌，说：“你配接受那书卷，配打开它的封印，因为你曾被杀，用自己的血，从各支派、各语言群体、各民族、各国家，为神赎回了人，

在他里面，我们藉着他的血，得蒙救赎、过犯得到赦免，都是出于神恩典的丰盛。

你们做丈夫的，要爱自己的妻子，就像基督也爱了教会，为她舍弃了自己。基督这么做，是要藉着话语，用水的洗涤而洁净教会，使她分别为圣，为要给自己预备一个荣耀的教会，没有污渍、皱纹或任何这类的事，却要她成为圣洁、毫无瑕疵。

因为我的肉是真食物，我的血是真饮物。

耶稣回答她，说：“如果你明白神的恩赐，也知道是谁对你说‘给我一点水喝’，你早就求他了，他也把活水给你了。”

我以前也不认识他，但为了让他向以色列显明，所以我来用水施洗。”约翰又见证说：“我看到圣灵好像鸽子从天上降临，停留在他身上。我以前也不认识他，可是那派我用水施洗的对我说：‘如果你看见圣灵降临在谁身上，又停留在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的那一位。’

晚餐后，他也照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血所立的新约，为你们所流的。

至于第二间会幕，只有大祭司一年进去一次，没有不带着血的；这血是为自己和子民无意中犯的罪所献上的。

信我的人，就如经上所说的，从他的腹中将要涌流出活水的江河。”耶稣这话是指着信他的人所要领受的圣灵而说的。当时，圣灵还没有临到，因为耶稣还没有得荣耀。

就是按照父神的预知，藉着圣灵分别为圣，以致顺从耶稣基督，又蒙他宝血所洒的人：愿恩典与平安多多地加给你们！

何况一个人践踏了神的儿子，把那使自己成圣的立约之血看做是俗物，又侮辱了恩典的圣灵，你们想想，这个人难道不该受更厉害的惩罚吗？

正如大家所承认的，敬神的奥秘是极大的：神以肉身显现，被圣灵证实，被天使观看，被传于万邦，被世人信仰，被接在荣耀里。

因为我们听说了你们在基督耶稣里的信仰，以及对所有圣徒所怀的爱——

并不是我们爱了神，而是神爱了我们，差派他的儿子来，为我们的罪孽做了平息祭——在这里就是爱了。
