吾知凡為天主所生者、不犯罪；以有天主之惟一聖子為之監護、而元兇莫之能近也。

We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

We know that those who are children of God do not keep on sinning. The Son of God keeps them safe. The evil one can’t harm them.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

‘ I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have followed My word, and have not denied My name.Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie— I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that I have loved you.Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who live on the earth.

I have restrained my feet from every evil way, So that I may keep Your word.

for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in regard to Me,

not as Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And for what reason did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil, but his brother’s were righteous.

We are from God. The one who knows God listens to us; the one who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

I said,“ I will keep watch over my ways So that I do not sin with my tongue; I will keep watch over my mouth as with a muzzle While the wicked are in my presence.”

Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy,

And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

As for the works of mankind, by the word of Your lips I have kept from the ways of the violent.

this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him,“ Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”Jesus responded and said to him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Nicodemus* said to Him,“ How can a person be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?”Jesus answered,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
