我們知道凡從神生的，必不犯罪，從神生的，必保守自己，那惡者也就無法害他。

吾知凡為天主所生者、不犯罪；以有天主之惟一聖子為之監護、而元兇莫之能近也。

We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

We know that those who are children of God do not keep on sinning. The Son of God keeps them safe. The evil one can’t harm them.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them.

凡從神生的，就不犯罪，因神的道存在他心裏；他也不能犯罪，因為他是由神生的。

保守自己常在神的愛中，仰望我們主耶穌基督的憐憫，直到永生。

凡信耶穌是基督的，都是從神而生，凡愛生他之神的，也必愛從神生的。

我知道你的行為，你略有一點力量，也曾遵守我的道，沒有棄絕我的名。看哪，我在你面前給你一個敞開的門，是無人能關的。那撒但一會的，自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，乃是說謊話的，我要使他們來，在你腳前下拜，也使他們知道我是已經愛你了。你既遵守我忍耐的道，我必在普天下人受試煉的時候，保守你免去你的試煉。

我禁止我腳走一切的邪路，為要遵守你的話。

你們蒙了重生，不是由於能壞的種子，乃是由於不能壞的種子，是藉着神活潑常存的道。

他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。

以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到。他在我裏面是毫無所有；

不可像該隱；他是屬那惡者，殺了他的兄弟。為甚麼殺了他呢？因自己的行為是惡的，兄弟的行為是善的。

我們是屬神的，認識神的就聽從我們；不屬神的就不聽從我們。從此我們可以認出真理的靈和謬妄的靈來。

這等人不是從血氣生的，不是從情慾生的，也不是從人意生的，乃是從神生的。

我曾說：我要謹慎我的言行，免得我舌頭犯罪；惡人在我面前的時候，我要用嚼環勒住我的口。

那能保守你們不失腳、叫你們無瑕無疵、歡歡喜喜站在他榮耀之前的我們的救主－獨一的神，

凡向他有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像他潔淨一樣。

論到人的行為，我藉着你嘴唇的言語自己謹守，不行強暴人的道路。

我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間、撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有棄絕我的道。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，說：「拉比，我們知道你是由神那裏來作師傅的；因為你所行的神蹟，若沒有神同在，無人能行。」耶穌回答說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」尼哥德慕說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。
