We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

每一个信耶稣是基督的人，都是从上帝生的。凡爱生他之上帝的，也爱上帝所生的。

‘我知道你的行为，你力量微小，却遵守了我的教导，没有背弃我的名。所以，看啊！我在你面前为你打开了一扇无人能关闭的门。看啊！我要使撒旦的同伙，就是那些假冒犹太人的说谎者，在你面前俯伏下拜，让他们知道你是我所疼爱的。因为你遵守我有关坚忍的教导，所以当将来的试炼临到全人类的时候，我必使你免受磨难。

我听从你的话，拒绝走恶道。

你们获得重生，不是借着会腐烂的种子，而是借着不会腐烂的种子——上帝活泼永存的道。

祂按照自己的旨意，借着真道重生了我们，使我们在祂所造的万物之中好像初熟的果实。

我不再跟你们多谈，因为世界的王快要来了。他根本没有力量胜过我，

不要步该隐的后尘。他属于那恶者，杀害了自己的弟弟。他为什么要杀害自己的弟弟呢？因为他的行为邪恶，而他弟弟秉行公义。

我们属于上帝，认识上帝的人听从我们，不属于上帝的人不听从我们。这样，我们就可以分辨真理的灵和错谬的灵。

这些人既不是从人的血缘关系生的，也不是从人的情欲或意愿生的，而是从上帝生的。

我说：“我要谨言慎行，免犯口舌之罪。只要身边有恶人，我就用嚼环勒住自己的口。”

愿荣耀归给我们的救主——独一的上帝！祂能保守你们不失足犯罪，使你们无瑕无疵、欢欢喜喜地站在祂的荣耀面前。

凡心存这种盼望的人都会自洁，因为主是圣洁的。

我遵守你的教导，洁身自守，不与残暴之徒同流。
