小子乎、爾曹乃由上帝、已勝彼眾、蓋在爾衷者、大於在世者也、

小子乎、爾由上帝出、與爾心交者、較與世心交者尤大、故爾能勝之、

小子乎、爾曹屬天主、已勝彼眾、蓋在爾內者、較在世內者大也、

可愛哉小子、爾等則本乎天主、而戰勝若輩矣。無他寓於爾內者、實遠勝乎寓於世間者也。

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Dear children, you belong to God. You have not accepted the teachings of the false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is powerful. He is more powerful than the one who is in the world.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

我们知道并且深信上帝是爱我们的。上帝就是爱，住在爱里面的就是住在上帝里面；上帝也住在他里面。

因为我们的争战并不是对抗有血有肉的人，而是对抗那些执政的、掌权的、管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空灵界的恶魔。所以，要拿起上帝所赐的全副军装，好在邪恶的日子能抵挡仇敌，并且完成了一切后还能站立得住。

最后，你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。

并且，我赐给他们永生；他们永不灭亡，谁也不能从我手里把他们夺去。我父所赐给我的比万有都大，谁也不能从我父手里把他们夺去。我与父原为一。”

他就是真理的灵，是世人不能接受的。因为他们既看不见他，也不认识他；你们却认识他，因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。再过不久，世人不再看见我，你们却会看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。到那日，你们就会知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。有了我的命令而又遵守的人，就是爱我的；爱我的人，我父要爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”犹大（不是加略人犹大）问耶稣：“主啊，为什么亲自向我们显现，而不向世人显现呢？”耶稣回答他说：“凡爱我的人就会遵守我的道，我父也会爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。

我们是属上帝的，认识上帝的就听从我们；不属上帝的就不听从我们。从此我们可以认出真理的灵和错谬的灵来。

凡从上帝生的，不犯罪，因上帝的道存在他里面，他也不能犯罪，因为他是由上帝所生的。这就显明谁是上帝的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女了。凡不行义的，不是出于上帝，不爱他弟兄的，也是如此。

我不再和你们多说了，因为这世界的统治者将到，他在我身上一无所能。
