孩子們，你們是屬於神的，並且已經勝過他們，因為那在你們裡面的比那在世上的更大。

小子乎、爾曹乃由上帝、已勝彼眾、蓋在爾衷者、大於在世者也、

小子乎、爾由上帝出、與爾心交者、較與世心交者尤大、故爾能勝之、

小子乎、爾曹屬天主、已勝彼眾、蓋在爾內者、較在世內者大也、

可愛哉小子、爾等則本乎天主、而戰勝若輩矣。無他寓於爾內者、實遠勝乎寓於世間者也。

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Dear children, you belong to God. You have not accepted the teachings of the false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is powerful. He is more powerful than the one who is in the world.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

神對我們的愛，我們已經明白了，而且相信了。神就是愛；住在愛裡面的，就住在神裡面，神也住在他裡面。

因為我們的爭戰，對抗的不是有血有肉的人，而是執政的、掌權的、管轄這黑暗世界的和天上的邪靈。所以要穿起神所賜的全副軍裝，使你們在這邪惡的時代裡可以抵擋得住，並且在作完了一切之後，還能站立得穩。

最後，你們要靠主的大能大力，在他裡面剛強。

我賜給他們永生，他們永不滅亡，誰也不能把他們從我手裡奪去。那位把羊群賜給我的父比一切都大，也沒有人能把他們從我父的手裡奪去。我與父原為一。”

這保惠師就是真理的靈，世人不能接受他，因為看不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因為他跟你們住在一起，也要在你們裡面。我不會撇下你們為孤兒，我要回到你們這裡來。不久以後，世人不再看見我，你們卻要看見我，因為我活著，你們也要活著。到那日，你們就知道我是在我父裡面，你們是在我裡面，我也在你們裡面。那領受我的命令，並且遵守的，就是愛我的；愛我的，我父必定愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。”猶大（不是加略人猶大）對耶穌說：“主啊，你為甚麼要親自向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？”耶穌回答：“人若愛我，就要遵守我的話，我父必定愛他，並且我們要到他那裡去，跟他住在一起。

我們是屬於神的，認識神的就聽從我們，不屬於神的就不聽從我們。這樣，我們就可以辨別真理的靈和謬妄的靈了。

凡是從神生的，就不犯罪，因為神的生命（“神的生命”原文作“種子”）在他裡面；他也不能犯罪，因為他是從神生的。這樣，誰是神的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女，就很明顯了。凡不行義的，就不是出於神，不愛弟兄的，也是這樣。

我不會再跟你們講很多的事，因為這世界的統治者將到；他在我身上毫無作用，
