小子乎、爾由上帝出、與爾心交者、較與世心交者尤大、故爾能勝之、

小子乎、爾曹屬天主、已勝彼眾、蓋在爾內者、較在世內者大也、

可愛哉小子、爾等則本乎天主、而戰勝若輩矣。無他寓於爾內者、實遠勝乎寓於世間者也。

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Dear children, you belong to God. You have not accepted the teachings of the false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is powerful. He is more powerful than the one who is in the world.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

神对我们的爱，我们已经明白了，而且相信了。神就是爱；住在爱里面的，就住在神里面，神也住在他里面。

因为我们的争战，对抗的不是有血有肉的人，而是执政的、掌权的、管辖这黑暗世界的和天上的邪灵。所以要穿起神所赐的全副军装，使你们在这邪恶的时代里可以抵挡得住，并且在作完了一切之后，还能站立得稳。

最后，你们要靠主的大能大力，在他里面刚强。

我赐给他们永生，他们永不灭亡，谁也不能把他们从我手里夺去。那位把羊群赐给我的父比一切都大，也没有人能把他们从我父的手里夺去。我与父原为一。”

这保惠师就是真理的灵，世人不能接受他，因为看不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他，因为他跟你们住在一起，也要在你们里面。我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我要回到你们这里来。不久以后，世人不再看见我，你们却要看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。到那日，你们就知道我是在我父里面，你们是在我里面，我也在你们里面。那领受我的命令，并且遵守的，就是爱我的；爱我的，我父必定爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”犹大（不是加略人犹大）对耶稣说：“主啊，你为什么要亲自向我们显现，不向世人显现呢？”耶稣回答：“人若爱我，就要遵守我的话，我父必定爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，跟他住在一起。

我们是属于神的，认识神的就听从我们，不属于神的就不听从我们。这样，我们就可以辨别真理的灵和谬妄的灵了。

凡是从神生的，就不犯罪，因为神的生命（“神的生命”原文作“种子”）在他里面；他也不能犯罪，因为他是从神生的。这样，谁是神的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女，就很明显了。凡不行义的，就不是出于神，不爱弟兄的，也是这样。

我不会再跟你们讲很多的事，因为这世界的统治者将到；他在我身上毫无作用，
