吾人苟能涵養愛德、使臻於圓融純熟之境、則吾人對於審判之日、可以泰然無憂矣。何則、吾人在世克肖天主具體而微也。

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

你们要记得我对你们说过的话：‘仆人不大于主人。’他们若迫害了我，也会迫害你们，他们若遵守了我的话，也会遵守你们的话。

倒要欢喜，因为你们是与基督一同受苦，使你们在他荣耀显现的时候也可以欢喜快乐。你们若为基督的名受辱骂是有福的，因为荣耀的灵，就是上帝的灵，在你们身上。

可见信心是与他的行为相辅并行，而且信心是因着行为才得以成全的。

我实在告诉你们，在审判的日子，所多玛和蛾摩拉地方所受的，比那城还容易受呢！”

但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，推罗和西顿所受的，比你们还容易受呢！

仰望我们信心的创始成终者耶稣，他因那摆在前面的喜乐，轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦难，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。你们要仔细想想这位忍受了罪人如此顶撞的耶稣，你们就不致心灰意懒了。

但现在的天地还是凭着上帝的话存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。
