吾人苟能涵養愛德、使臻於圓融純熟之境、則吾人對於審判之日、可以泰然無憂矣。何則、吾人在世克肖天主具體而微也。

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

这样，我们必知道自己属于真理，即使我们心中自责，也可以在上帝面前心安，因为上帝比我们的心大，祂知道一切。

你们要记住我说的话，‘奴仆不能大过主人。’他们若迫害我，也必迫害你们；他们若遵行我的话，也必遵行你们的话。

反倒要欢喜，因为你们是与基督一起受苦。这样，你们在祂的荣耀显现时可以和祂一同欢喜快乐。如果你们为基督的缘故受辱骂，就有福了！因为上帝荣耀的灵常住在你们身上。

可见他的信心和行为相称，而且信心要有行为才是完全的。

我实在告诉你们，在审判之日，他们所受的痛苦比所多玛和蛾摩拉所受的还大！

所以我告诉你们，在审判之日，你们将比泰尔和西顿受更重的刑罚！

定睛仰望为我们的信心创始成终的耶稣。祂为了摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。你们要思想忍受罪人如此顶撞的主，免得疲倦灰心。

同样，现在的天地要凭上帝的话语存留到不敬虔的人被审判和毁灭的日子，那时天地要被火焚烧。
