We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

天主愛我儕之愛、我儕已知且信、天主即愛也、恆愛者、即恆居天主內、天主亦恆居其內、

至天主對吾人所抱之愛德、則尤吾人所親知、而深信不疑者也。天主即是愛德、是故以愛德為安宅者、即是以天主為安宅、而天主亦以其人為安宅矣。

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them.

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.This is real love— not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,“ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
