This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

Here’s how we know that we are joined to him and he to us. He has given us his Holy Spirit.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.

你們已被建立在眾使徒和先知們的基礎上，基督耶穌自己是房角石。整座建築的各部分都靠祂巧妙地連接在一起，逐漸成為主的聖殿。你們也靠著祂被建造在一起，成為上帝藉著聖靈居住的地方。

到了那一天，你們就知道我在父裡面，你們在我裡面，我也在你們裡面。接受我的命令又遵行的，就是愛我的人。愛我的，父必定愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。」猶大，不是後來出賣耶穌的猶大，問耶穌：「主啊，你為什麼只向我們顯現而不向世人顯現呢？」耶穌回答說：「愛我的人必遵行我的道，我父也必愛他，並且我們要到他那裡與他同住。不愛我的人不會遵行我的道。你們所聽見的道不是出於我自己，而是出於差我來的父。我還與你們在一起的時候，將這些事情都告訴了你們。但護慰者，就是父為我的名而差來的聖靈，將教導你們一切的事，並使你們想起我對你們說的一切話。
