總之、凡守天主之誡命者、常寓於天主之懷、而天主亦常寓於其心。然吾何由知天主之常寓吾心、亦惟憑其所賜於我之聖神耳。

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

The one who obeys God’s commands remains joined to him. And he remains joined to them. Here is how we know that God lives in us. We know it because of the Holy Spirit he gave us.

Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.

The one who keeps his commands remains in him, and he in him. And the way we know that he remains in us is from the Spirit he has given us.

The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

豈不曉得你們乃是上帝的殿堂，上帝的靈住在你們裏面麼？

從來沒有人見過上帝；我們若彼此相愛，上帝就住在我們裏面，他的愛也就在我們裏面得完全了。上帝將他的靈賜給我們：在這一點、我們就知道我們住在他裏面，他也住在我們裏面了。

這樣，凡我們所求的，我們都從他得着，因為我們守他的誡命，行他眼中所喜歡的事。

使他們都合而為一，正如父你在我裏面，我也在你裏面，使他們也在我們裏面，叫世人相信是你差遣了我。

你所受託付的美好職守、你要藉那住在我們裏面的聖靈牢牢保守着。

豈不知你們的身體就是聖靈的殿堂麼？聖靈是那在你們裏面的、是你們從上帝那裏得來的。你們又不是屬於自己的；

要把律法以下的人買出來，好讓我們得到被立為子的名分。為了你們是兒子，上帝就差遣出他兒子的靈、進入我們的心、來呼叫「阿爸！父啊！」。

但你們呢、不是在肉體裏，乃是在靈裏，如果上帝的靈住在你們裏面、的話。人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬於基督的。如果基督在你們裏面；那麼你們的身體雖因罪成為死的，你們的靈卻因義成為生命。如果那使耶穌從死人中活起來的靈住在你們裏面，那麼那使耶穌從死人中活起來的、也就要藉着他的靈、那住在你們裏面的靈、使你們能死的身體活起來。弟兄們，那麼我們便是欠債的了，卻不是欠肉體的債、去順着肉體活的。因為你們若順着肉體而活，就必死；若順着靈治死你們身體上的行為，就必活。凡蒙上帝之靈帶領的、就是上帝的兒子。你們並不是領受了奴役之靈，以致重陷於懼怕；你們乃是領受了被立為子的靈；憑着這樣的靈、我們來呼叫：「阿爸！父啊！」的。聖靈自己、和我們的靈一同作證我們乃是上帝的兒女。既是兒女，便是後嗣：是上帝的後嗣，和基督同做後嗣，如果我們和他一同受苦、的話；那是要使我們也和他同得榮耀。

那說住在他裏面的、那麼基督怎樣行，他也應該怎樣行：在這一點、我們就知道我們在他裏面。
