And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

The one who obeys God’s commands remains joined to him. And he remains joined to them. Here is how we know that God lives in us. We know it because of the Holy Spirit he gave us.

Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and[ that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.And if Christ[ be] in you, the body[ is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit[ is] life because of righteousness.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with[ him], that we may be also glorified together.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
