認識你－獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。

第二條也如此，就是要愛鄰如己。

「你們心裏不要憂愁；你們信神，也當信我。

這話可信，值得完全接受：「基督耶穌到世上來是要拯救罪人」，而在罪人中我是個罪魁。
