你们如果住在我里面，而我的话也住在你们里面，那么，凡是你们所愿的，当祈求，就将为你们成就。

你们在祷告中无论求什么，只要信，就必得着。”

我们对神所怀的确信是这样的：如果我们按照他的旨意求什么，他就垂听我们。

耶和华远离恶人，却垂听义人的祷告。

“不断祈求吧，就会给你们；不断寻找吧，就会找到；不断敲门吧，就会为你们开门。因为凡祈求的，就得到；寻找的，就找到；敲门的，就为他开门。

我寻求耶和华，他就回应我，解救我脱离一切的恐惧。

如果你们中间有人缺乏智慧，他就应当向那慷慨赐予万人又不责骂人的神祈求；神就会赐予他。

当趁着耶和华还能被找到的时候寻找他，趁着他还在近处的时候呼求他！邪恶的人要离弃自己的道路，作恶的人要撇弃自己的意念；他们当回转归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他们；当回转归向我们的神，因为神必广施赦免。

所以你们当彼此认罪，彼此代求，好使你们得痊愈。义人所做的祈祷是大有力量的。

如果我的心以罪为念，主就不会垂听。但神确实垂听了，他留心听了我祷告的声音。

如今我一切都得到了，并且丰足有余。我已经得以满足了，因为我从以帕弗迪托接受了来自你们的东西；那是馨香的气味，是神所悦纳、所喜悦的祭物。

如果你们遵守我的命令，就会住在我的爱里；就像我遵守了我父的命令，住在他的爱里那样。

耶和华啊，你垂听了卑微人的愿望！你使他们的心坚定；你侧耳倾听，

“虽然神并不鉴察那愚昧无知的时代，但如今却吩咐各处所有的人都要悔改，

在一切美善之事上使你们完备，好遵行他的旨意。愿神藉着耶稣基督，在我们里面行他看为喜悦的事。愿荣耀归于他，直到永永远远！阿们。

而神的命令是这样的：我们要信他儿子耶稣基督的名，并且照着他所赐给我们的命令彼此相爱。遵守神命令的，就住在神里面，神也住在他里面；而且我们从这一点就知道神住在我们里面，是藉着他所赐给我们的圣灵。
