各位蒙愛的人哪，如果我們的心不責備我們，我們在神面前就可以坦然無懼，

愛友乎、我心若不自責、則可毅然於上帝前、

良朋心無可責、則上帝前無懼、

可愛者乎、若我心不責我、則可在天主前毅然無懼、

吾人若問心有疚、懇切自訟、則應念天主慈量大於吾心、而無所不諒也。

Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God;

Then you will delight in the Almighty and lift up your face to God.

This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

I will pay attention to the way of integrity. When will you come to me? I will live with a heart of integrity in my house.

I will cling to my righteousness and never let it go. My conscience will not accuse me as long as I live!

For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. It is the Lord who judges me.

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.
