愛友乎、吾人今茲已為天主之子女矣。前途之光明、不可思議。惟當吾主顯現之日、吾人必獲見其本來面目、而酷肖之、此則吾人之所知也。

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

那时，祂要以降服万物的大能将我们这卑贱的躯体改变成像祂那样荣耀的身体。

我们这些脸上不再蒙着帕子的人，可以像镜子一样反映主的荣光，渐渐变成主的样式，荣上加荣。这都是主的作为，主就是那灵。

基督就是你们的新生命，祂显现的时候，你们也必和祂一起在荣耀中显现。

我认为现在所受的痛苦与将来要显给我们的荣耀相比，简直微不足道。

“父啊！我在哪里，愿你赐给我的人也在哪里，好让他们看见你赐给我的荣耀，因为在创世以前你已经爱我了。

同样，基督为了承担世人的罪，也曾一次献上自己。祂还要再来，不是来除罪，而是来拯救那些热切等候祂的人。

因为凡有上帝的圣灵引导的人都是上帝的儿女。你们接受的圣灵不是使你们做奴隶，仍旧害怕，而是使你们做儿子，可以称上帝为“阿爸，父亲”。

心灵纯洁的人有福了，因为他们必看见上帝。

孩子们，你们要住在主里面。这样，当主显现的时候，就是祂再来的时候，我们便能坦然无惧，不会在祂面前羞愧。

所以，我们总是坦然无惧，尽管知道住在肉身之内便无法与主在一起。因为我们行事为人，是凭对上帝的信心，不是凭眼见。是的，我们坦然无惧，甚至更乐意离开身体，回到天家与主相聚。
