嗚呼、天父愛吾人之深、待吾人之厚、有不能言喻者焉。吾人竟蒙恩召、得稱為天主之子女、而亦實為天主之子女矣。然則吾人之不容於世、不亦宜乎；即天主亦未嘗見容於世也。

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

See what amazing love the Father has given us! Because of it, we are called children of God. And that’s what we really are! The world doesn’t know us because it didn’t know him.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

你們眾人憑着信、在基督耶穌裏、都是上帝的兒子。

要把律法以下的人買出來，好讓我們得到被立為子的名分。為了你們是兒子，上帝就差遣出他兒子的靈、進入我們的心、來呼叫「阿爸！父啊！」。

『我要做你們的父親，你們必做我的子女：全能的主說的。』

義的父啊，世人沒認識過你，我卻認識了你，這些人也知道是你差遣了我。

上帝這樣地愛世人，甚至賜下獨生子，使一切信他的人都不滅亡、而得永生。

上帝啊，你的堅愛多麼寶貴啊！世人避難於你翅膀之蔭下。他們必因你殿裏的肥甘而得飽飫；你必使他們喝你快樂河的水。因為生命之源頭是在於你；在你光中我們才得以見光。

上帝差遣了他的獨生子到世界上來，我們藉着他而活：在這一點、上帝的愛就顯明在我們裏面了。不是我們愛了上帝，乃是上帝愛了我們，並差遣了他的兒子、為我們的罪做了除罪法：愛就是在這一點啊。

便很有力量能和眾聖徒一同領會基督的愛是何等的長、闊、高、深，能認識那遠超過人知識的愛，使你們得充滿，完完全全地得到上帝之豐滿。

得勝的必承受這些以為業；我必做他的上帝，他必做我的兒子。

就像上帝也在《何西亞書》上說了：『我要稱非我民、為我民；稱非蒙愛者為蒙愛的。』『將來必這樣：從前在甚麼地方有話對他們說：「你們不是我的子民」，就在那地方，他們就必稱為永活上帝的兒子。』

你們如果是屬基督的，那你們就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，照應許做後嗣了。

他既不愛惜自己的兒子，反而為我們萬人放棄了他，豈不也把萬物連他、都一同恩賜我們麼？

凡蒙上帝之靈帶領的、就是上帝的兒子。你們並不是領受了奴役之靈，以致重陷於懼怕；你們乃是領受了被立為子的靈；憑着這樣的靈、我們來呼叫：「阿爸！父啊！」的。聖靈自己、和我們的靈一同作證我們乃是上帝的兒女。既是兒女，便是後嗣：是上帝的後嗣，和基督同做後嗣，如果我們和他一同受苦、的話；那是要使我們也和他同得榮耀。

你的慈惠、你為敬畏你的人所珍藏、為避難於你裏面的人在人類面前所施行的、何其豐富啊！

因為被創造之物還直盼望得自主、脫離敗壞之奴役，而進入上帝兒女們之榮耀之自由。

因為你們已經死了，你們的生命是與基督一同藏在上帝裏面的。

然而主永恆主啊、這在你雖還看為小事，你仍說到你僕人家的事至於久遠：我主永恆主啊，這是人所常遇的事麼？
