暗昧消而真光著、余以新命傳爾、主曾實踐、爾亦如之、

我復將新誡致書以傳爾、在主乃真、在爾亦真、蓋晦暗方過、而真光已照也、

雖然、吾所書者、亦可謂之新誡命、主所體認、亦爾等所體認者也。蓋暗昧寖消、而真光已著矣。

Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said“ Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

But for you who respect my name, the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall.

And the commandment we have from him is this: that the one who loves God should love his fellow Christian too.

Dear friends, if God so loved us, then we also ought to love one another.

We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love our fellow Christians. The one who does not love remains in death.Everyone who hates his fellow Christian is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.

Look! The winter has passed, the winter rains are over and gone.The pomegranates have appeared in the land, the time for pruning and singing has come; the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

My commandment is this– to love one another just as I have loved you.No one has greater love than this– that one lays down his life for his friends.You are my friends if you do what I command you.I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father.

( 9: 1) The people walking in darkness see a bright light; light shines on those who live in a land of deep darkness.

Jesus replied,“ The light is with you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
