不可报仇，也不可埋怨你本国的子民。你要爱邻如己。我是耶和华。

耶稣回答：“第一是：‘以色列啊，你要听，主—我们的神是独一的主。你要尽心、尽性、尽意、尽力爱主—你的神。’第二是：‘要爱邻如己。’再没有比这两条诫命更大的了。”那文士对耶稣说：“好，老师，你说得对，神是一位，除了他以外，再没有别的了；并且尽心、尽智、尽力爱他，又爱邻如己，要比一切燔祭和祭祀好得多。”耶稣见他回答得有智慧，就对他说：“你离神的国不远了。”从此以后，没有人敢再问他什么。

耶稣对他说：“你要尽心、尽性、尽意爱主—你的神。这是最大的，且是第一条诫命。第二条也如此，就是要爱邻如己。这两条诫命是一切律法和先知书的总纲。”

弟兄们，你们蒙召是要得自由；只是不可把这自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要用爱心互相服侍。因为全部律法都包括在“爱邻如己”这一句话之内了。

你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华—你的神。

经上记着：“要爱邻如己”，你们若切实守这至尊的律法，你们就做得很好。但你们若按外貌待人就是犯罪，是被律法定为犯法的。因为凡遵守全部律法的，只违背了一条就是违犯了所有的律法。原来那说“不可奸淫”的，也说“不可杀人”。你就是不奸淫，却杀人，也是成为违犯律法的。既然你们要按使人自由的律法受审判，就要照这律法说话行事。

他们就把他带到亚略巴古，说：“你所讲的这新学说，我们也可以知道吗？
