But whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in him.

凡遵守主道的，爱神的心在他里面实在是完全的。从此，我们知道我们是在主里面。

惟守其道者、則上帝之愛、誠成全於彼矣、以是知我儕在主中也、

守其道者、誠愛上帝、我亦若此、而知心與主交、

凡守其道者、愛天主之愛、實成全於其心、由是可知我在主內、

惟篤踐其道者、方能切身體認天主之愛德、漸達圓融純熟之境、此亦所以證吾人實與天主相契也。

But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:

But if anyone obeys God’s word, then that person truly loves God. Here is how we know we belong to him.

but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:

But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him.

But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the love of God is made complete. This is how we know we are in him:

but whoever follows His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:

But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:

Jesus replied,“ If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God resides in us, and his love is perfected in us.By this we know that we reside in God and he in us: in that he has given us of his Spirit.

This requires the steadfast endurance of the saints– those who obey God’s commandments and hold to their faith in Jesus.

By this we know that we love the children of God: whenever we love God and obey his commandments.

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God.And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him.

I will put my Spirit within you; I will take the initiative and you will obey my statutes and carefully observe my regulations.

Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments.The one who says“ I have come to know God” and yet does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in such a person.

I cried out to you,“ Deliver me, so that I can keep your rules.”

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

Whoever obeys his command will not experience harm, and a wise person knows the proper time and procedure.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

Now as for you, the anointing that you received from him resides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you reside in him.And now, little children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink away from him in shame when he comes back.

so that they might keep his commands and obey his laws. Praise the LORD!
