By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

我们若遵守他的诫命，就晓得是认识他。

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.

We know that we have come to know God if we obey his commands.

And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments.

This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands.

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

“ If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

“ Now why do you call Me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,

The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.

The one who says,“ I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;but whoever follows His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:the one who says that he remains in Him ought, himself also, walk just as He walked.

We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will set our heart at ease before Him,
