This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands.

我们若遵守他的诫命，就晓得是认识他。

我们若遵守上帝的命令，就知道我们确实认识他。

我们若遵行上帝的命令，就知道自己认识祂。

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.

And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments.

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands.

“ If you love me, you will keep my commands.

This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

After he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,

The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.

The one who says,“ I have come to know him,” and yet doesn’t keep his commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the love of God is made complete. This is how we know we are in him:The one who says he remains in him should walk just as he walked.

This is how we will know that we belong to the truth and will reassure our hearts before him
