我们若遵守他的诫命，就晓得是认识他。

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.

And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments.

This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands.

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. (niv)

and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him (niv)

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. (niv)

Whoever says,“ I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. (niv)
